Chatterbox and Doughnut activity

We did the Formative Assessment for the first line of inquiry ‘Origin of Earth and its physical features’ through a Chatterbox strategy and Doughnut activity. The students connected very well with the activity and were enjoying the assessment so much that the result was excellent.

Finding Out - Physical features of planet Earth

Students did their research work on physical features of Earth and presented their work in front of their class.

Doodle for Google was an exciting thing which happened in our school and this year the theme was Unity in Diversity. Kids were so enthusiastic making the doodle with some brilliant ideas popping out of their brains.

2 D shapes and 3 D shapes play’s a very important role in our life and we can see these shapes everywhere. Kids are excellent observers so we took them for a nature walk and asked them to observe all the shapes they see around them and differentiate them as 2 D shapes and 3 D shapes. It was a fun activity and the kids really noticed small small things and made the drawings on sheets.

Traditional sit down lunch with fun

On Thursday we all experienced a very traditional sit down lunch in our school. With all the fun happening outside our lunch hall the scene inside was very beautiful and enriching with the mats laid down on the floor and a traditional lunch served by the students of middle school on leaf plates. What a day with all of us sitting down and eating in Peace in Gandhi Style.

Celebrating Peace and Joy of Giving

Peace is not just a word but it is a feeling in our heart of love, of spreading happiness and joy all around us. This week was celebrated as the Joy of Giving week and Peace Day and Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated with full enthusiasm and commitment. These three days were very special because my students did a beautiful performance in front of the whole Primary and we all created a scroll with peace messages and presented it to the UN peacekeepers who visited our school on Thursday. To celebrate the joy of giving all the students of primary got some gifts and kept them under the giving tree. These gifts
will be presented to the students in the village schools on Diwali.

Young Researchers

Students did their individual research on Big Bang Theory and presented some very useful information in front of their class. It was very heartening to see their hard work.
